Founded with the guidance and expertise of Kiran Kumar, one among the first surfers of India, our venture is inspired by his groundbreaking achievements and unwavering passion for the ocean. Kiran, a pioneer in Indian surfing, has been instrumental in promoting surfing as a lifestyle and sport across coastal communities.
Kiran is joined by his lifelong partner and now business collaborator, Rashmi Kumari, whose multifaceted achievements and leadership bring unparalleled depth to Makai Surf Adventure. Rashmi is a true renaissance individual, a Navy Brat, a champion of horsemanship, a tech innovator specializing in Generative AI, and a trainer for safety and defense. Her diverse expertise enriches the adventure experience, blending technology, physical training, and ocean safety to create a comprehensive approach to surf education. Rashmi has also been a staunch advocate for women’s participation in safety and outdoor activities, inspiring countless individuals to embrace new challenges.
